In early 1999 exim*trade began instruction in international trade-related courses at the University of Texas at Austin, the largest University in the United States. The highly acclaimed courses, taught by Senior Consultant and Principal Scott Maynard have proven to be a popular component within the University's Informal Classes program.
Featuring full hands-on classroom instruction to a student body comprised of area business professionals and University of Texas students and faculty, the beginning series, entitled "The Business of Importing" have been very well received and attended:

Each student receives a comprehensive Resource Text, prepared by exim*trade for each class. The text features many resources for continued reference including recap of the lectures, examples, exhibits, photos, and key contacts including many internet links and suggested further reading lists.
In addition to the Importing class, a full course entitled "The Business of Exporting" is planned in the immediate future.
